The NBA says it will hold its draft lottery in Chicago next spring. The league announced Thursday the event will be held outside New York or New Jersey for the first time on May 15. It will be followed by the draft combine May 16-20 in Chicago, where it has been conducted for years.

The Brooklyn Nets are reportedly exploring the trade market, with Atlanta’s John Collins on their radar. SNY journalist Ian Begley revealed on The Putback podcast the Nets “have indeed touched base” with the Hawks about Collins. “Just interesting because the Nets are in search of some help along the frontline and John Collins could certainly help them,” Begley said. “I’m not sure how far along those talks went, but they have certainly engaged recently. So something to keep an eye on there.”
According to Georgios Zakkas from SDNA, two EuroLeague teams have shown a desire to sign the player from Monbus Obradoiro. BasketNews sources have confirmed the information. Virtus Segafredo Bologna and AS Monaco are interested in bringing the Croatian forward in, Zakkas reports.
