Boston Celtics forward Marcus Morris is expected to miss at least the first week of the regular season due to right knee soreness, according to head coach Brad Stevens. Stevens said Morris has been dealing with the issue since arriving to training camp. He is expected to undergo reevaluation sometime within the next 10-14 days.
With Morris out, Stevens hinted the Celtics will likely start rookie Jayson Tatum against the Cleveland Cavaliers. There could be bench minutes available in Boston's frontcourt.
