More on Jamal Murray Injury

“He’s champing at the bit,” Nuggets summer league coach Micah Nori said of Murray. “He was hurt all last year. He had the hernia thing and still played 82 games. I think he’s finally back to normal and, to use a term from a former Nugget, he’s got fresh leg and he wants to use them.”
Chris Dempsey: Still, Murray is not expected to play in summer league. But reports from those who have seen him on-court say Murray looks solid.
Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray has undergone successful surgery to repair core muscle-related injuries, General Manager and Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations Tim Connelly announced today.
Murray will resume basketball related activities this summer and is expected to be at full-strength when the Nuggets open training camp this fall.
Chris Dempsey: He's getting advice on how best to treat it in the offseason, and no matter what route is taken, is expected to be ready for training camp.
