Team captains LeBron James and Stephen Curry have chosen the local charities they’ll play for during the NBA All-Star Game on Feb. 18 in Los Angeles. James chose After-School All-Stars Los Angeles and Curry selected Brotherhood Crusade. The NBA previously announced that it will donate $350,000 to the winning team’s cause and $150,000 to the losing team’s charity.

Privately, some members of the front office have been mentioning the same thing regarding the idea of taking a point guard, essentially saying that it wouldn’t make sense to select a PG given the current roster.
