Smart could potentially require season-ending surgery, but that’s not a certainty at this point. During a Wednesday afternoon interview with 98.5 The Sports Hub’s Zola & Bertrand, Stevens said the guard’s injury situation is more unclear than any of his other hurting teammates. “I would say that at the end of the day, Marcus is going to seek a second opinion, confer with everybody that he’s talked to, and make the right decision from there that he’s comfortable with, that we’re comfortable with, that everybody’s comfortable with,” Stevens said on the radio show.

Jared Weiss: Stevens on LeBron: “The thing that people don’t talk about is how good he’s shot over the years and that’s taken out going under, which probably 3-4 years ago was probably a primary option with most teams.” Almost every time Cs try to go under, he’s popped a pull up three.
Jared Weiss: Stevens jokingly asked if LeBron reading at shootaround psychs him out: “I will say this. I talked about his shooting & the improvement of his shooting has really taken going under pick-and-rolls out as an option over time. He’s as smart of a basketball player as I’ve ever seen.”
Jared Weiss: This interview was pretty phenomenal. Stevens on if he feels pressure to win tonight: “It’s a blast. I’m coaching basketball. Are you kidding me? I realize what a joke it is that I get to do this for a living. I’m looking forward to the challenge.”
Will Selva: .@NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell on new anthem policy: “We’ve talked to tens of hundreds of players. We think we’ve come up with a balanced process.” Jared Dudley: I’m so glad I play in the @NBA instead of @NFL.. And I’m not even talking about guarantee money.. That league is a joke
