Michael Wallace: Oklahoma's Trae Young scheduled to work out for Hawks on Tuesday. Atlanta holds the No. 3 pick as well as two others in the first round. Can't see the Hawks taking Young there, but they are indeed the true wildcard among the top lottery picks.
Darren Wolfson: Former McDonald's All-American Billy Preston was also in town today for a workout with the #Twolves (h/t @Mar_Shaunny). He played briefly in Bosnia last season after an eligibility issue at Kansas. #AllEyesNorth
Spencer Percy: Add Miles Bridges to the list of notable (lottery possible) names that workout for the #Hornets: Lonnie Walker, Mikal Bridges, Robert Williams, Kevin Knox pro-day (Kupchak in attendance)
Michael Wallace: Grizz GM Chris Wallace, who attended Michael Porter Jr.'s workout in Chicago last Friday, said Porter "passed his first test." Wallace on Porter, as Grizzlies ponder options at No. 4 pick: "It's part one (and) he showed he was alive, well and moving. He passed that first test."

Harrison Wind: UNLV big man Brandon McCoy called himself the best center in the draft following his workout with the Nuggets this morning. Most mock draft have him pegged as a second-round prospect. pic.twitter.com/590uynbYEV
Ian Begley: The Knicks have an individual workout scheduled with Miami's Lonnie Walker IV this week, per ESPN sources. New York interviewed Walker in Chicago at the Draft Combine and attended his Pro Day. Opposing executives believe that Walker is one of several players in consideration to be selected at No. 9 by the Knicks. He is currently projected to be taken 13th by the Clippers in ESPN's latest mock draft. Walker has a 6-10 wingspan, which has intrigued NBA evaluators. For more on Walker, check out ESPN's draft coverage.
Ian Begley: The Knicks have a workout scheduled with UCLA point guard Aaron Holiday, per ESPN sources. The workout is expected to take place close to draft night, sources say. Holiday, the younger brother of Jrue and Justin Holiday, was a prolific scorer last season as a Bruin. The idea that the Knicks would like to work Holiday out close to the draft is an indication that they'd really like to get a first-hand look at him. The guard, who averaged 20.3 points and 5.8 assists last season, is currently projected as the 19th pick in ESPN's latest mock draft. The Knicks, who have the 9th pick, have already worked out point guards Trae Young and Collin Sexton.
Peter Edmiston: Grizzlies announce a workout tomorrow afternoon with the following dudes: Elijah Bryant (BYU) Demetrius Denzel-Dyson (Samford) Donte Ingram (Loyola (IL)) Yante Maten (Georgia) Terrell Miller (Murray State) Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk (Kansas)
At least one member of the Cavaliers' front office attended Michael Porter Jr.'s pro day workout in Chicago on Friday, a league source told cleveland.com. The workout took place on the same day the Cavs lost Game 4 of the NBA Finals to the Golden State Warriors and were swept out of the series.
The Cavs have the eighth pick, and are excited about the possibility of using that slot to maybe draft someone who was supposed to be No. 1, sources said, but he is not the only player under consideration. For instance, Collin Sexton, the point guard from Alabama, worked out with the Cavs Saturday and owner Dan Gilbert tweeted that he was a "very intriguing draft prospect."
Tony Jones: NBA first round prospect Troy Brown will work out for the Charlotte Hornets next Sunday, I'm told. His stock continues to rise
The Knicks interviewed Porter at the combine and will do so again Friday. Porter said at the combine being drafted by the Knicks would be “awesome.’’ “I loved meeting with them, they knew everything about me,’’ Porter said. “It was cool meeting with those guys.”
In preparation for the 2018 NBA Draft, the Charlotte Hornets will host their sixth draft workout on Monday, June 11: Jordan Capps (Southeastern Louisiana), Matt Farrell (Notre Dame), Ria'n Holland (Mercer), JP Macura (Xavier), Tai Odiase (Illinois-Chicago), Todd Winter (Queens College)

Darren Wolfson: Former Columbia Heights HS and San Jacinto JC/Illinois St./#Gophers/Texas Southern/New Mexico St. star Zach Lofton has either worked out or will workout for the Lakers, Bucks, Kings, Thunder, and Raptors. He also shot it well at Wasserman's Pro Day.
Steve Kyler: So word on Porter Jr workout was he shot the ball really well and looked solid. Few doubt his talent, still biggest question is the medical. Porter Jr's camp to pick which teams they will meet with and share details with, in the coming days.
Josh Robbins: Combo guard draft prospect Anfernee Simons said he has workouts upcoming with the Knicks, Cavaliers, Grizzlies and Bucks. He said he already has worked out for the Bulls, Suns, Trail Blazers, Lakers and Jazz. He worked out for the Magic today.
Michael Cunningham: Hawks draft workouts for Sun: Allen (Duke), Foster (Creighton), Mahmoud (Louisville), Matthews (Rhode Island), McCoy (UNLV), Robinson (BC)
Zach Oliver: The Magic will work out guard Anfernee Simons today. Simons went to local Edgewater high school, before finishing at IMG academy. He’s the first player to enter directly out of high school since 2005.
Michael Scotto: Mikal Bridges (Villanova) is scheduled to have an individual workout with the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday, June 12, league sources told The Athletic. He is projected to be selected No. 9 overall by the New York Knicks in our latest mock draft. theathletic.com/384331/2018/06…
Nets Daily: Dzazan Musa is working out in New York, according to his Twitter account, and I have to assume for the Nets. Earlier today he tweeted he was going from the plane to the court.
Bagley, on the other hand, said he will work out for the Sacramento Kings and Atlanta Hawks, the teams with the No. 2 and No. 3 picks, respectively. "Deandre, he's going to do what he's going to do. That's his plan," Bagley said. "All I can do is control what I can control and do what I love to do and just show different teams what I'm capable of doing. I can't really worry about what other people are doing at this point. This is an important time in my life right now, something I've been working toward my whole basketball career."
Adam Zagoria: Georgia Tech's Josh Okogie is getting a lot of interest in the teens & 20s for the NBA Draft, per league source. Has worked out for Brooklyn, Boston, Atlanta, Lakers, Denver, San Antonio and the Bulls. Has more workouts coming with San Antonio (again), Portland & Golden State.
Sources tell me the Dallas Mavericks were among the teams present this week for Porter Jr.'s private workout in Chicago, that they found his session to be "extremely impressive,'' and that they are part of a growing movement of teams who believe he is a "top-three prospect'' if healthy.
Darren Wolfson: Mahtomedi HS alum and former Baylor forward Nuni Omot has workouts in the next week with the Hornets, 76ers, and Warriors. He also performed well today in front of some scouts at a showcase in Chicago.
Mike Vorkunov: Found it interesting that Wendell Carter Jr. said he spent a lot of his Knicks workout today working "on defense, help-side defense" with Fizdale. Wonder if that's revelatory about questions Knicks have about him or if that's routine for bigs in these types of workouts.
Tom Westerholm: TCU's Kenrich Williams said the Celtics’ workout was different from other workouts he has experienced. "This was more based on defense and how tough you are."
Ryan Ward: Next round of pre-draft workouts for the #Lakers include: Wenyen Gabriel – Kentucky Theo Pinson – North Carolina Tra Holder – Arizona State Nick King – Middle Tennessee Jacob Evans – Cincinnatti Brian Bowen II – South Carolina
Ian Begley: Duke’s Wendell Carter Jr. answers questions about how he’d fit next to Kristaps Porzingis. Asked why he wanted to work out for NYK, which has the lowest pick among teams he’s visited, Carter says he believes that the club is ‘trying to become that old Knicks team’ again: pic.twitter.com/nWebnRVsHd

Ian Begley: The Knicks have representation at the Priority Sports Pro Day in Chicago, where Michael Porter Jr. is working out, per sources. Knicks president Steve Mills and GM Scott Perry were not there but the Knicks have a pre-draft meeting scheduled with Porter Jr., per ESPN sources.
Ian Begley: Texas Tech's Zhaire Smith is scheduled to work out for the Knicks on Saturday, per ESPN sources. The 6-4 guard showed elite athleticism in his lone college season. Miles Bridges, Kevin Knox and Hamidou Diallou are also expected to work out for the Knicks on Saturday. It's unclear if it's a group workout or if there are individual workouts. For information on draft prospects, check ESPN's draft coverage page.
Most teams will have players stay at a 4-star hotel: Hyatt, Marriott, Westin, etc. But again, every team is different. Some teams will have players stay at a 5-star hotel while others will have players stay at a 3-star hotel due to the proximity to their practice facility. Typically a team’s front office staff will take players to dinner the night before a workout or an early breakfast the morning of the workout. If not, teams will give per diem or a certain amount of credit for room service at the hotel. Everything is a test during this time; players need to be prepared for anything. A player does not want to give an impression of being a prima donna. He needs to go with the flow. The player’s goal is to play in the NBA and all of these teams have their golden ticket.
Generally, a team workout day will look something like this: On-Court Workout: Teams can have a maximum of six NBA draft prospects on the floor at a time. Players will be put through drills to show their skills. Ball handling, shooting, and offensive footwork are usually the main points of interest. This will also include competitive play: 1-on-1, 2-on-2, and 3-on-3. - Athletic Testing and Measurements. - Medical Testing. - Psychological Testing: A lengthy multiple choice test. This test is to examine a player’s intelligence and personality. - Interviews: This could be with the general manager, the head coach, or others in the front office and/or coaching staff. Occasionally, a team psychologist will be included in these interviews, as well.
Wherever the athletic, 6-foot-9 big man with the 7-6 wingspan winds up after the June 21 NBA draft, he hopes to shut down such performances. Unless he’s Markkanen’s teammate, of course. “I feel like I have the best defensive presence when I’m on the court,” Williams said. “As far as guarding (positions) one through five, I feel like I’m capable. And I’m going to improve to make that one of my best attributes.”
Young dreamed about what life would be like if his career path eventually took him along this route. “You definitely envision it,’’ Young said on Thursday following his individual workout with the Magic. “When you put on this (black, sleeveless Magic) shirt or step on this court, you have to envision yourself being here every day and working out. Nighttime and when you are alone on those early mornings, you have to envision all of that if you want to be great.’’

Haralabos Voulgaris: I tried to get (Alex Caruso) the year he was a free agent three years ago. Could not convince people that he was even an NBA basketball player and one of our guys in our front office is like, ‘I think if he didn’t look like the like Jim Carrey from the Cable Guy when when he plays a pickup basketball game, I think he would be taken a lot more seriously.’
