After going undrafted on Thursday night, Issac Haas has signed a free agent deal with the Utah Jazz on Friday, according to Purdue men’s basketball’s official Twitter account. He will join the Jazz for the Salt Lake City Summer League that runs from July 2-5 and will likely be on their roster from July 6-17 in Las Vegas when all 30 NBA teams will participate in that summer league.
Kendall Stephens will get his shot with an NBA team. The Wolf Pack alum who set the Mountain West single-season record in 3-pointers made last year has agreed to join the Orlando Magic's summer league team.
Former Murray State guard Jonathan Stark has announced on social media that he will play for the Minnesota Timberwolves in the 2018 NBA Summer League.
Anas Mahmoud, who graduated from Louisville in April, plans to suit up for the Memphis Grizzlies. The summer league starts July 6 in Las Vegas, with Memphis set to tip off a day later.

Alessandro Gentile asked the Rockets for an invite for next training camp, according to La Prealpina. Gentile was supposed to join the Rockets Summer League team in Las Vegas but he suffered a thumb injury and underwent surgery. The Italian forward will return in mid-august from the injury and would love to have a chance in the NBA.

Former Sydney Kings forward Perry Ellis will be suiting up alongside another NBL star in Travis Trice for the upcoming 2018 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. The Kansas City Star reported earlier today that the University of Kansas college star would be joining the Milwaukee Bucks this off-season following a stint in Italy with Pallacanestro Cantu. Ellis was a standout during the 2017 Summer League as a member of the Charlotte Hornets before committing to Sydney. In 27 games for the Kings, Ellis averaged 14.8 points and 5.7 rebounds on 44.7% shooting from beyond the arc as one of the brighter spots in a tough season for Sydney.
Jayson Tatum, like every other Celtic, was sent home last week with instructions for a productive summer. Rest is definitely part of the prescription for someone who played in 99 games overall in his rookie season. As a result, Tatum is not part of the Celtics’ plans for the Las Vegas Summer League, at least not as an active member of the roster. “We knew it about 50 games into the season,” president of basketball operations Danny Ainge said yesterday. “But look at it, he just played in (99) games. I think it would be crazy to put him into the summer league.”

The plan is for Diamond Stone to play for the Hawks’ entry in the Las Vegas Summer League contingent on the completion of the trade that will bring the second-year center from the Clippers, according to several people familiar with the situation.
Shooting guard Markel Brown also missed Tuesday’s loss, and he won’t be back in Orlando Summer League, the Thunder announced. Brown left Tuesday to play for the Portland Trail Blazers in Las Vegas Summer League, which begins Friday. Practices, of course, start a few days before games.

The Orlando Magic have released their roster for the 2017 Mountain Dew Orlando Pro Summer League, which will take place July 1-6, 2017 on the Orlando Magic’s practice court. The roster is subject to change. The 20-game, six-day event will feature a team from the Orlando Magic, along with the Charlotte Hornets, Dallas Mavericks, Detroit Pistons, Indiana Pacers, Miami Heat, New York Knicks and Oklahoma City Thunder.
The Toronto Raptors announced Tuesday their 17-man roster for NBA Summer League 2017 in Las Vegas. Current Raptors Jakob Poeltl, Pascal Siakam and Fred VanVleet will headline this year’s squad. First- round draft pick OG Anunoby will not participate in the tournament while he recovers from a right knee injury. Raptors assistant coaches Jama Mahlalela and Patrick Mutombo will serve as the team’s coaches.
Second-year point guard Tyler Ulis and rookie forward Alec Peters will not participate in summer league. Ulis in May had surgery on his right ankle and just recently started doing spot shooting and light running. Peters – selected with the 54th pick of last week's draft – is not available because of a right-foot injury. Both Ulis and Peters are expected to be ready for training camp in October.
