New Bedford’s Bonzie Colson II was signed as a free agent by the Cleveland Cavaliers, he confirmed on Sunday. The Cavaliers were one of six teams Colson worked out for before Thursday’s draft, and on Sunday Colson shared his excitement with the Standard-Times in a text message. “It’s a blessing,” he wrote. “I’m excited to start the new beginning to an exciting journey.”
