Adrian Wojnarowski: Los Angeles Clippers guard Avery Bradley underwent surgery to repair adductor and rectus abdominis muscles on Tuesday and will miss the rest of the regular season, league sources tell ESPN. Six weeks to eight weeks is the recovery time on the surgery.
Bradley also said that surgery is a possibility, and that it could happen before the season is over. But Bradley said ideally he wants to play this season. "Right now, we're just taking it day by day, trying to be smart about this injury," Bradley said. "Just trying to see what the best decision is to make, what it is, what it's going to be."
Guard Avery Bradley said he'll return to the lineup after missing seven games with a groin injury. "It was lingering over a few weeks, but now I feel better, I feel like I can go out there and give my all," Bradley said Tuesday after practice.

Stevens believes Bradley probably will not make the trip to New York for Sunday's game against the Knicks.
Bradley continued trying to bust through lingering effects of an illness that hospitalized him this weekend. "I feel a little better," Bradley said. "I still feel a little drained. I tried to use today - I went really hard so I could break a sweat and try to just get it out of me so I'm back to my regular self. But I feel good."

There is still an opportunity to win this series but the Celtics have to use their two days off to reflect on their recent slow starts. And they also likely have to move on without Avery Bradley, who suffered a right hamstring strain and will have an MRI on Sunday, a test that will likely reveal a significant injury.

Bradley said he will go for “a test” Sunday morning. He also anticipated having treatment through the night. He left the locker room using one blue crutch to walk with. Game 2 is Tuesday at Philips Arena.
“I just want to get treatment and take it day by day and hopefully I can be back by next game,” Bradley said. “I’m not worried at all, I have faith, I know my teammates and people are praying for me.” Asked if he was concerned he could be lost for the series, Bradley said, “I’m taking it day by day. I don’t really know. Could be, but I’m hoping it’s not.”
