Warriors forward Draymond Green made progress Monday morning, participating in shoot-around, but will still miss the team’s preseason game against Phoenix with a sore left knee.
"It’s pretty good; I’m getting better," said Green, who expects to return for Wednesday night’s game against the Lakers in Las Vegas. "I started shooting yesterday and shot today, so it’s moving in the right direction." An MRI exam on Green’s left knee came back clean.

The injury occurred when Green took an inadvertent knee below the belt from Spurs guard Danny Green. "It'll be fine," the forward told reporters after the game.
