Celtics center Aron Baynes underwent successful nasal septoplasty surgery for a nasal fracture he suffered during Game 6 of Boston’s Eastern Conference Finals series against Cleveland. Baynes is expected to return to basketball activities in two to four weeks.
Aron Baynes went through a full practice after hyperextending his left knee in last Monday’s game against Philadelphia and missing the preseason finale in Charlotte Wednesday. On if he’ll play Tuesday, he said, “I definitely think I’m on track for that. It’s still day to day, but I’m going to go out on a limb here — literally — and say I should be available.”
