Yossi Gozlan: Mitchell Robinson was eligible to extend with the Knicks last year for the veteran maximum of 4/$55M. Knicks held off to prioritize cap space and that extension is now 4/$58M. Robinson’s patience is rewarded with a deal above that value. Knicks $10M below tax with 13 players.
Nuggets, Bruce Brown agree to a two-year deal
Malika Andrews: Bruce Brown has agreed to a 2-year, $13M+ deal with the Denver Nuggets, sources tell ESPN.
While he doesn’t want to be part of a rebuilding process with the Oklahoma City Thunder and there’s reported interest for him from Denver, Milwaukee, Chicago, and San Antonio, especially after the Dejounte Murray trade to Atlanta, the Thunder are keeping his rights. Vasilije Micic’s camp pushes for a trade, however, OKC doesn’t want to give him up practically for free or just for a second-round draft pick. That complicates things and Micic can’t do much more than waiting until there’s a suitor willing to proceed to a deal that would satisfy the Thunder.

Zion Williamson to sign five-year extension up to $231 million
Shams Charania: New Orleans Pelicans star Zion Williamson is nearing a five-year rookie max contract extension worth up to $231 million, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. The commitment will take Williamson’s new deal through the 2027-28 season.
