Gerald Bourguet: Monty Williams didn’t name names, but said he warned some Suns free agents about coming to Phoenix because of how much depth they had and the minutes crunch that comes with that. They still wanted to come here anyway
Justin Grasso: Doc Rivers says he’s not sure when Anthony Tolliver will join the team. Said “Maybe in Dallas,” but if not, when the team returns home. Rivers isn’t sure how much he’ll play when he joins the team. Didn’t sound like he plans to play him much.
Jason Quick: Blazers coach Terry Stotts said Jusuf Nurkic will play Sunday against Miami and that Rondae Hollis-Jefferson will play tonight against Detroit. Nurkic being held out tonight was for precautionary reasons after his knee swelled last week.
