“I fear the injuries that could possibly happen if guys aren’t staying prepared,” said one NBA strength coach. “That’s a big thing I’m worried about. It’s hard for guys to mimic what they do in games, but they need to somewhat try. The guys who don’t are going to have a hard time. The league could decide to jump right to the playoffs just to finish the season quickly and that’s when the intensity is at its highest. You’ll have some guys who haven’t done much for a while trying to play their way into shape. Well, couple that with playoff intensity and there will be a lot of injuries that come with that, unfortunately.”

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander could miss third straight game
Brandon Rahbar: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is currently listed as OUT tomorrow vs the Pacers. Tyrese Haliburton is out for the Pacers. Myles Turner is questionable. Indiana still has some young talent is 19-19 at home. OKC is pushing to make the play-in. Big game.
Olgun Uluc: Sam McDaniel has signed a two-year deal with the Brisbane Bullets, sources told ESPN. Both years guaranteed.
Danny Cunningham: #Cavs guard Darius Garland was asked what he would say to NBA Defensive Player of the Year voters to make a case for Evan Mobley. “Watch a basketball game. Watch a Cavaliers game.”
Dane Moore: Naz Reid is listed as questionable for Friday’s game against the Lakers after hurting his wrist in Wednesday’s game. Taurean Prince, Austin Rivers and Matt Ryan are all questionable with an illness. Jaylen Nowell is also questionable with his lingering knee injury.
Law Murray: Paul George (knee), Marcus Morris Sr. (H&S protocols), Brandon Boston Jr. (tailbone) remain out. Norman Powell came out of his return game unscathed and will play front end of back-to-back.
