Kevin Porter returns with Cavaliers

Cleveland Cavaliers swingman Kevin Porter Jr. is back. Sort of. For the first time this season, Porter joined his teammates on the bench Friday night — the most promising sign of an eventual return that still has no official timetable.
Porter, who has been away from the team for personal reasons that stem from a Nov. 15 arrest, was permitted on the bench as part of the organization’s reintegration plan. According to sources, Porter also participated in practice Thursday afternoon. “It’s a way to start working him back into the mix,” a source said.

Harrison Faigen: Frank Vogel was asked about how Trezz and Marc can match up against Steven Adams and his physicality. “Well those two guys are two of the most physical guys in the league too… That’s what we like about those guys being here at the center position alongside Anthony.”

Jim Eichenhofer: Eric Bledsoe is available to play vs. Lakers tonight

Tim Bontemps: In addition to the Celtics players still in the NBA’s Health and Safety Protocols, two assistant coaches — Jay Larranaga and Jerome Allen — also are in them, according to a source. Neither are on the bench for Boston’s game tonight against Orlando.

Brad Townsend: Van Gundy says he heard NBA is going to go to twice-a-day testing. Had not heard that before.
