“So I just read a statement that the Philadelphia Eagles posted regarding DeSean Jackson’s comments. He was trying to educate himself, educate people, and he’s speaking the truth. Right? He’s speaking the truth. You know he don’t hate nobody, but he’s speaking the truth of the facts that he knows and trying to educate others,” Stephen Jackson said in a video posted on Instagram. “But y’all don’t want us to educate ourselves. Mason Gordon will produce for MSM, with RTG Features acting as the studio. 2022 Emmy nominees Coodie & Chike (Jeen-yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy) developed the film in partnership with RTG and will serve as executive producers.
Existing investors including Jeff Bezos, Sapphire Sport, and Blackstone upped their stakes. Overtime has raised $250 million to date and claims over 6% of active NBA players have invested, including Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony, and Trae Young. Other investors include Winslow Capital, Spark Capital, Black Capital, Alexis Ohanian, Drake, Quavo, and Micromanagement Ventures, co-founded by late former NBA commissioner David Stern.
