LaMarcus Aldridge: Morning work.. pic.twitter.com/Hqm5QSri4g
Michael C. Wright: Doesn't matter because he's not playing anyway, not to mention he's rehabbing, but you shouldn't expect LaMarcus Aldridge to be with the Spurs in Orlando.
Ben Golliver: Spurs announce that LaMarcus Aldridge will miss the resumption of the 2019-20 season in Orlando after undergoing right shoulder surgery. San Antonio (27-36) is four games back of West's 8th seed & in mix for play-in round.
Bobby Marks: Under the proposed roster rules, San Antonio would be allowed to replace the injured LaMarcus Aldridge with an injury replacement player-either a G-League, Two-Way or any player that was on an NBA roster during the season.
Brad Townsend: Aldridge is back tonight, Popovich says.
Spurs big man LaMarcus Aldridge is targeting Monday’s game against Indiana for his return to action after missing the past two games with a right shoulder strain. Aldridge wanted to play against Orlando on Saturday, but the team’s medical staff said he needed more rest. “They tell me whether he’s ready to go or not,” Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said. “I’m not a doctor. He’s either in or he’s out. He’d rather be in, but they said no.”

Tom Orsborn: LaMarcus Aldridge is out vs. Orlando, per #Spurs injury report. With LA missing his second straight game with a right shoulder strain, rookie Luka Samanic will once again be available. Per injury report, Chimezie Metu and Quinndary Weatherspoon are on G League assignment.
Tom Orsborn: #Spurs will be without LaMarcus Aldridge when they face the Bulls tonight in Chicago in the second game of a back to back. He is suffering from a sprained right thumb, the team announced.
After the game, Aldridge experienced soreness in his right quad, leading to an MRI on Saturday. He remained in San Antonio to seek treatment, and will be considered day-to-day going forward. “He felt a little bit in there, and we wanted to make sure it didn’t get worse,” Popovich said. “There was a little bit of stuff in there (on the MRI). Hopefully this will take care of it.”
Marc Stein: The Spurs' LaMarcus Aldridge will miss tonight's game in Detroit due to a thigh injury they hope will sideline him no more than a game or two, league sources say
Paul Garcia: For Sunday’s Spurs-Knicks game, LaMarcus Aldridge and Derrick White are both listed as PROBABLE again
Tom Orsborn: Quincy on LA playing with pain: "I didn’t know if he was going to play today, then I saw him getting tapped up & warming up. He told me he’s a competitor & wants to go out there help us. We have no choice but to follow somebody’s lead like that & go out & compete our butts off."
Tom Orsborn: Pop on LA playing with a sore left wrist: "He showed a lot of heart. LaMarcus took one for the team tonight sort of. I really wanted to sit him, but he was adamant about playing tonight, so we let him go."
RJ Marquez: Spurs announce LaMarcus Aldridge is AVAILABLE for game vs #Pelicans...DeRozan and Bertans are out. #ksatsports #KSATnews #NBA
Fred Katz: Pop says Aldridge will play: “I would say yes. I think so. Those are two different statements. Probably so.”
Didn't see LaMarcus Aldridge on the floor during shootaround. But he's in the weight room doing rehab work.
With seven games left in the regular season and just two games separating them from the ninth-place Los Angeles Clippers entering Wednesday’s action, the sixth-seeded Spurs (43-32) shudder to think what it would be like to face the fourth-seeded Thunder (44-31) without the player who has carried them all year. “As we can see and all you guys can see, we need him to play and be a force, a factor, to not only just play but lead us,” Manu Ginobili said. “It would be a tough, tough blow if he is not ready to play.”
He also had two double-doubles during that torrid run, capping it with a regular-season career-high 45 points in an overtime win over the Utah Jazz last Friday. “Considering the way he’s been playing and our recent success in those games, we are at the point where if LaMarcus gets a cough, a cold, we are in deep trouble,” Ginobili said.
Jabari Young: Quick Popovich reaction... #Spurs lacked a lot of things tonight. Mental toughness. Discipline. Communication. “I think our guys should be embarrassed.”... also said Aldridge will have MRI in the morning to check his left knee
Paul Garcia: From the Spurs: LaMarcus Aldridge (left knee contusion) will not return to tonight's game.
Jeff McDonald: Spurs get Aldridge back tonight, but Pop says they're debating the starting five: “We haven’t figured it out yet. At least we know the people we’re choosing from. That’s a good step forward.”
Paul Garcia: Aldridge (right knee soreness), Manu (rest), and Kawhi (injury management) are all OUT for Monday’s Spurs game at Houston SA announced.
Paul Garcia: Pop says LaMarcus Aldridge will play today.
Michael C. Wright: Official update: Pau Gasol (bone bruise, left knee) is probable for tonight's Spurs-Lakers game. LaMarcus Aldridge (sprained right ankle) is out, as is Kawhi Leonard (return from injury management).
The Spurs announced at halftime that Aldridge had an ankle sprain and would not return to action. The Spurs did not offer an update on Aldridge following Wednesday's 121-116 loss. Teammate Rudy Gay was optimistic Aldridge will be OK. "I think he'll be fine. I'm hoping he'll be fine," Gay said after the game. "We obviously need our big dog. He's a soldier. He'll play."
Tom Orsborn: LA said everything went well the knee treatment that required him to miss the last 2 games: "I'm good. Just making sure things were good, making sure I will be good after the break. Pop, myself & the medical staff talked about it, and we felt like it was a smart decision." #Spurs
The Spurs have grown accustomed to living the rocky life of missing Kawhi Leonard for much of this injury plagued season. Now they are prepared to wave goodbye to LaMarcus Aldridge until after the All-Star break. Aldridge will not play in either of the Spurs' final two games leading into the break, tonight in Utah or Tuesday at Denver.
Tom Orsborn: Aldridge (sore right knee) is out for tomorrow night at Utah, per #Spurs. Murray (ankle), Parker (back) are questionable. Leonard, Gay remain out.
Kawhi Leonard (concussion protocol) is questionable for tomorrow night's Spurs-Hawks game. LaMarcus Aldridge, Dejounte Murray (left groin) and Tony Parker (back stiffness) remain out.
Spurs power forward LaMarcus Aldridge will be sidelined indefinitely after an occurrence of minor heart arrhythmia, the Spurs announced Saturday morning. “All parties have concluded that at the current time it is best for Aldridge to refrain from play until further tests and examinations are completed,” according to a statement provided by the team. “The Spurs will provide updates as appropriate.”
Aldridge has a history of minor heart issues dating to his rookie season. In April 2007 while with Portland, Aldridge was diagnosed with Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome. The condition is an electrical abnormality of the heart that can cause dizziness and rapid heartbeat. Aldridge underwent an ablation procedure to correct the ailment at the time, and missed the final nine games of the Trail Blazers’ season.
Spurs power forward LaMarcus Aldridge will not play against the Philadelphia 76ers because of a sore right knee. San Antonio is already without Pau Gasol, its starting center, who underwent surgery Jan. 20 to repair a broken left ring finger. Gasol broke his fourth metacarpal Jan. 19 while warming up before the Spurs' home game against Denver. The 7-footer was expected to miss four to six weeks due to the injury.
Marc Stein: ESPN sources say Spurs forward LaMarcus Aldridge, due to a recent finger/hand injury, has also removed himself from Olympic consideration.

Nike and Kobe Bryant partnership is 'done'

Nick DePaula: At 6:36 AM today I received a text: “Vanessa Bryant did not renew contract. Kobe and Nike are done.” I’ve been working since to confirm what this means ahead for the Nike / Kobe Bryant partnership. As of right now — there is no ongoing contract for future Kobe releases. pic.twitter.com/5vuyQg6Gw6
