More on Romeo Langford Injury

Brian Robb: Brad Stevens on Romeo Langford's torn wrist ligaments: "He hasn't had a lot of pain with it."
Jay King: Romeo Langford has torn ligaments in his wrist, per Stevens. From what Stevens said, sounds like surgery is an option at some point, but they’re determining whether he’ll be available or not. Stevens believes it’s “questionable right now.”
Chris Grenham: Romeo Langford is out today for the Red Claws with his ankle injury. The team does not believe it to be serious, however.
Jay King: Enes Kanter is questionable for tomorrow's game against Dallas. Romeo Langford, who was just recalled from Maine, has an illness. He is listed as probable.
Chris Forsberg: Celtics officially rule out Romeo Langford (sore right knee) and Tacko Fall (concussion protocol) for Wednesday’s opener in Philadelphia. Robert Williams does not appear on the injury report so he appears to be full-go for Wednesday night.
Jay King: Brad Stevens said Romeo Langford’s injury isn’t “BAD bad.” Doesn’t know what that means for Tuesday’s game.
While fellow rookies Grant Williams, Carsen Edwards, Tremont Waters and Tacko Fall earned headlines at the NBA Summer League, Langford was sidelined by offseason surgery on his right thumb. Now, months later, Langford is nursing a tweaked left groin that has kept him out of live action during the first two days of training camp. Neither he nor the Celtics appear to be very concerned with the most recent setback. Langford told that he “should be fine coming up here pretty soon.”
Scott Agness: Romeo Langford told reporters in NY that his recovery from right thumb surgery is “going good” and he expects to play at summer league. Langford had his hard cast removed two weeks ago and he met with a few teams in the last week.
Scott Agness: Romeo Langford says his back is 100%. "There's no problem with that anymore." Going to his cast off soon, which will allow him to shoot again and resume normal lifting. Admits it affected him “in a huge way” at IU.

Initial trade talks stalled over draft capital and the possibility of other players included in a deal — for instance, young big man Thomas Bryant —before both teams could come to terms on an agreement. In the end, it was a simple Westbrook-for-Wall swap with the addition of a heavily protected first-round pick. Wizards GM Tommy Sheppard declared a week ago that the Wizards had no plans on trading Wall and the Rockets were prepared to enter camp with Westbrook, but situations in the NBA are always fluid and can change on a dime — a phone call is all it takes.
