Haliburton could be an ideal long-term fit with the Golden State Warriors, especially if they decide to trade back a few spots from No. 2. Going to Golden State would allow Haliburton to play to his strengths as a rookie. Having great players around him also makes some of his shortcomings less pronounced, alleviating pressure to quarterback an entire offense. Like we’ve seen with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander alongside Chris Paul and Dennis Schroder in OKC, multi-guard lineups have plenty of upside. And Haliburton doesn’t need volume to have a major impact. “I think I’m a really good fit there,” Haliburton said. “I think I can obviously come in and make shots as well and be in the first unit or lead the second unit.”
