Tom Orsborn: Poeltl on keeping in touch with teammates in protocols: “Most of them are pretty bored in quarantine. Derrick was talking to a bunch of us in pregame yesterday, and I was texting Keldon the other day asking how he was doing. Obviously, there are still ways to communicate.”

Brad Townsend: On the 12:30 injury report, Kristaps Porzingis has been downgraded to doubtful and Maxi Kleber has been upgraded to probable for tonight’s game in Philly.

Sarah Todd: I spoke with Elijah Millsap this morning about the incident he referred to in his tweets last night. He said that his hope is that by shining a light on the use of bigoted language that there can be progress and change made. The purpose of his coming forward was not to paint Dennis Lindsey as a racist, “I don’t believe he’s a racist. I was highlighting the remarks.” Millsap’s hope is that by sharing his own experience it will benefit others, possibly start conversations even if they’re hard.

Three months after being traded to the Lakers, Dennis Schroder has found a place to stay. Records show the German-born point guard just spent $4.275 million on contemporary home in Tarzana — about 20 miles from Staples Center. The San Fernando Valley neighborhood has housed plenty of Lakers over the years including Derek Fisher and Nick Young. Schroder’s spot first hit the market last summer at $4.5 million, records show.
