Harrison Wind: Even though the Nuggets will likely have their opening night starting five active in Dallas on Friday, Michael Malone said today that he’ll ease Gary Harris back into the rotation. Don’t be surprised if Malik Beasley continues to start for now.

Harrison Wind: Another note from Nuggets practice: Michael Malone said keeping Gary Harris out until after the All-Star break is “probably the most prudent decision to make.” Harris has missed Denver’s last 5 games with an adductor strain. He’s already been ruled out of Monday’s game vs. Miami.

Neither will be available for Friday’s home game against the Spurs.
“To have them slowly integrating back into practice is great,” said Nuggets coach Michael Malone. “When they’re able to return, I want those guys to know, it’s not like I expect Gary, who I think will be back before anybody, to come in and save the day. Maybe it’s easier for me to bring him off the bench, ease him back into it. These guys have been out for a while.”
