Scott Agness: Myles Turner, who finished the year on the bench with a toe injury, says it took 3-4 months to heal and has no limitations entering camp. “Welcome back, y’all” he said to reporters after finishing. It’s good to be back, Myles.
Scott Agness: NEW: The Pacers finished the season without Myles Turner, and T.J. Warren’s season didn’t last one week due to injuries. Both are progressing in their rehab and sat together today. Here’s the latest on their health: fieldhousefiles.substack.com/p/turner-warre…
J. Michael Falgoust: Turner on his turf toe injury: "I'm still a ways away. Im at 5 weeks. They say this is a 6-8 week recovery period." #Pacers
Scott Agness: Myles Turner says he’s still a ways away, part of a 6-8 week recovery period. "It’s an unfortunate injury because you use your big toe for everything."
J. Michael Falgoust: Turner: "It's very painful. Every time you take a step you feel it. There's only so much you can do."
Scott Agness: Turner says he’s week-to-week. Dealing with turf toe, he hasn’t even returned to basketball activities “The only thing that is going to heal this is time. Thankfully, there’s no surgery, nothing like that."
J. Michael Falgoust: There isn’t any update on Myles Turner who has turf toe. I’m told he’s still trying to get back on the floor for #Pacers but his return remains a question. That injury is hard to judge and it doesn’t take much to re-injure again if it’s not 100%
Tony East: Turner and Sabonis remain out against Portland tomorrow. Bitadze and Lamb are both questionable again. Zach Collins is out for the Blazers.
Tony East: Bjorkgren with some injury updates: Myles and Domas did not practice today. They did some work in the weight room. Lamb was 40% in practice. McDermott was in a full practice today. Bitadze shot a little bit, his ankle is getting better, but he didn't do much on court.
Tom Orsborn: Updated Pacers injury report for tonight vs. Spurs: Doug McDermott - Available (left ankle) Domantas Sabonis - Out (lower back) Jeremy Lamb - Out (left knee) Myles Turner - Out (right toe) T.J. Warren - Out (left foot)
Tony East: Bjorkgren doesn't have a formal timeline on Turner's injury as of now. Couldn't say if it was season-ending or not. Bjorkgren added he wasn't exactly sure when it happened in Sunday's game.
An MRI done Monday revealed that Pacers center Myles Turner has a partial tear of his plantar plate in the great toe of his right foot. Turner is out indefinitely and updates will be provided as necessary.
Scott Agness: Pacers injury update: Myles Turner (left ankle sprain) is out Friday in Orlando. Brogdon and Sabonis are questionable.
Scott Agness: #Pacers Brogdon, Lamb, Sabonis and Turner are all listed as questionable for tonight vs Wolves. D’Angelo Russell is probable.
Tony East: Myles Turner will play tonight
Scott Agness: Myles Turner is listed as questionable for tonight in Milwaukee due to a sore right shoulder. If he can go — I expect him to. It’s the Pacers’ first time on national TV this season.
J. Michael Falgoust: Bjorkgren goes out of his way to praise Turner: "Tough as hell." #PacersMagic
J. Michael Falgoust: Bjorkgren: "For him to show this toughness to be out on the floor tonight it's really big" #PacersMagic
As long as Myles Turner can handle the discomfort in his right hand, he can play for the Indiana Pacers. After missing the last games with an avulsion fracture in his shooting hand, the Pacers could have him back for Friday's home game vs. the Orlando Magic. It's Turner's call. "It's a broken bone. Real small. Real miniscule. There's really not much you can do for it to heal," Turner said after Thursday's practice session. "No surgery. No time off. It's just one of those things you've got to get used to."
Shams Charania: Pacers center Myles Turner has a slight fracture in his right hand and will be re-evaluated in the coming days, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Turner is the NBA leader in blocked shots (4.2 per game).
J. Michael Falgoust: Warren and Turner are “good to go,” per Bjorkgren #PacersKnicks
J. Michael Falgoust: Turner says he took a knee in the calf during practice but he'll be OK for the restart: "I've been taking the past couple days easier...It's nothing that's going to be long-term. Nothing I'm concerned about." #Pacers
Scott Agness: McMillan notes that Myles Turner was also held out of practice today. Sabonis, Bitadze and Sampson also dealing with what he calls soft tissue injuries.
Scott Agness: Malcolm Brogdon and T.J. McConnell ruled out tonight vs Bucks. Two-way guard Naz Mitrou-Long may receive an opportunity. Myles Turner returns to the starting lineup.
Roy Parry: The Magic have listed SG Terrence Ross as questionable on the NBA's 1:30 p.m. injury report for tonight's game vs. the Pacers. A league source said Ross will be a game-time decision. For the Pacers, Jeremy Lamb is out and Myles Turner is questionable. Both have ankle sprains.

Scott Agness: The flu is going around the locker room. Myles Turner became the third different Pacer to miss practice time. Domantas Sabonis collided with Aaron Holiday during a scrimmage and had his leg looked at, but he appears fine.
Scott Agness: Myles Turner’s right ankle injury doesn’t appear to be serious. He also had back spasms so McMillan shut him down for the game. He has a week to get it right before the postseason.
Scott Agness: Update: Myles Turner, who missed the last two games, is available tonight vs Pistons.
J. Michael Falgoust: Myles Turner (hip) went through shootaround but remains a game-time decision. #PacersPistons
Scott Agness: Myles Turner will miss his second straight game due to a bruised left hip. He was on the court for some pre-game shooting.
Will Guillory: Pacers coach Nate McMillan says Myles Turner will not play tonight against the Pels due to a hip injury
J. Michael Falgoust: Note: Turner says his right shoulder that kept him out 4 games isn't 100%. Still sore and will be tested v Embiid #PacersSixers
Scott Agness: Myles Turner is planning to play tonight vs Suns.
J. Michael Falgoust: McMillan in Turner: “He’s feeling better but he’s a no-go” ... note: no X-rays or MRIs required. #PacersKnicks
Scott Agness: Myles Turner feels fine two days later. “No signs of a concussion and I’m thankful for that.” Surgery on his broken nose took 10 minutes. He will get fitted for a mask after practice.

During Monday's 116-108 win against the Atlanta Hawks, they found that out when Myles Turner suffered a broken nose and couldn't return. His status for 2019 has yet to be determined though coach Nate McMillan is optimistic he'll be available for the start of a five-game road trip that begins Jan. 4 at the Chicago Bulls. "The hope is that he doesn't have a concussion but he can play with a broken nose," McMillan said. "You just put a mask on, but if there is a concussion that's something a little different." Turner will be re-evaluated Tuesday and receive a mask to protect the injury.
Indiana Pacers center Myles Turner suffered a broken nose after he collided with John Collins during the Pacers' 116-109 win over the Atlanta Hawks on Monday afternoon.

J. Michael Falgoust: Myles Turner is OUT. He has a broken nose and will not return. Status beyond that not known yet #PacersHawks
J. Michael Falgoust: Myles Turner (ankle) did practice today and told me he thinks he’ll play Monday v #Jazz ... thinks he should not have played in Charlotte #Pacers
J. Michael Falgoust: Turner (ankle) is OUT and Sabonis (ankle) is IN for tonight's game and the likely starter. That pushes O'Quinn into the 1st center off the bench role #PacersSpurs
J. Michael Falgoust: Domantas Sabonis and Myles Turner (ankle) are questionable #SpursPacers

Thunder to trade Vasilije Micic's rights?

Donatas Urbonas on Vasilije Micic: At least for now, there’s a feeling that he’s leaning towards the NBA. But it’s not about OKC, there is no place for Micic in OKC, or at least the place where Micic would be happy about the role he thinks about playing NBA. So his agent is working for making a trade for him. So if Micic is going to the NBA, it’s probably the most likely that there’s some other team which will trade for him.
Donatas Urbonas: By the way, if Micic is leaving there’s a rumor that Tomas Satoransky could join (Anadolu Efes).
Udonis Haslem: Draymond Green broke the code

Green made the remark on TNT’s “Inside the NBA” postgame show Thursday night following the Warriors defeating the Dallas Mavericks in five games. “Draymond broke the code,” Haslem told Yahoo Sports after the Heat’s 111-103 victory. “You ain’t supposed to say some s*** like that. That’s disrespectful. He know better than that.”
Barry Jackson: P.J. Tucker: “Everyone picked them, even though we’re No. 1” seed…. He said everyone (presumably teammates) laughed when Draymond Green said last night that Golden State will be playing Boston in the Finals: “It’s kind of weird to be a player and pick another team”
Reporter: “How you describe Jimmy’s game?” Kyle Lowry: “It’s f***ing incredible! My bad, my bad. Don’t fine me NBA, that was really by mistake, I promise.” Jimmy Butler: “Fine him, fine him. Y’all fine me all the time.”
The Celtics, so celebrated for their defense, made it easy for him. They mishandled the assignment, leaving Butler with a clear path to the hoop, and he pounced, driving for a layup and absorbing contact for good measure. It was a winning play that broke a tie game, along with the Celtics’ resolve. “His competitive will is as high as anybody that has played this game,” Heat Coach Erik Spoelstra said.
Nick Angstadt: Dorian Finney-Smith coined a new nickname “the Bang Bros” for him and Reggie. …and Bullock understandably lost it.
