In his latest Instagram Live, Irving addressed the issue and even fired back at the critics who has been blasting him for his stance. The Nets guard even issued some sort of a challenge for those criticizing him online but has no courage of telling it to his face. “These dudes read off scripts. They calling me unintelligent, all these different kinds of names. They’ll never say it to my face,” Irving said in his IG Live.

The Grand Rapids Gold, the NBA G League affiliate of the Denver Nuggets, announced today its 2021-22 training camp roster. The 14-man roster includes NBA Veteran Lance Stephenson, former University of Michigan Wolverine Nik Stauskas, and Denver Nuggets two-way player Petr Cornelie. The team is coached by NBA Champion Jason Terry.
Tom Orsborn: Joe Wieskamp on being assigned to G League: “It was really fun to be around the team (the Spurs) and go to the games, but obviously we weren’t getting too many minutes, if at all. This gives us an opportunity to go out there and play and develop.”
The Maine Celtics, presented by Unum, announced today the addition of Deng Adel to the training camp roster. Adel, a 6-7 product of Louisville, joins Maine with both NBA and NBA G League experience. While on a Two-Way contract, Adel played in 19 games for the Cleveland Cavaliers during the 2018-19 season, averaging 1.7 points, 1.0 rebounds and 0.3 assists in 10.2 minutes per game.

Vinny Benedetto: Michael Malone says Nikola Jokic is questionable for tomorrow’s game vs. Dallas. Jokic didn’t practice today, though he was on the court in sandals when the media was let in. Malone added Jokic won’t play Friday if he or the training staff has any concerns.
