Neil Dalal: Wizards no longer list Rui Hachimura as not with team, but out for “return to competition reconditioning”. It is TBD whether he will go on Washington’s upcoming road trip because it is a back-to-back and he can get more work in from DC, but he is around the team again for games.
Josh Robbins: The Wizards did not do any live contact today, but Rui Hachimura and Davis Bertans were full participants in the team's practice today, Wes Unseld Jr. said.
Ava Wallace: Rui Hachimura went through parts of shootaround for the first time today, Unseld said. "Just another step in his ramp up. We still don't have a definitive timetable, but every day it's more."
Fred Katz: Chandler Hutchison is questionable for tonight’s game against the Raptors with a left knee contusion, the Wizards say. Rui Hachimura has a non-COVID illness and is out.

Chase Hughes: Rui Hachimura practiced in full today and could return as early as late next week, per Coach Scott Brooks.
Fred Katz: Brooks on if Rui might play a rehab G League game: "We haven’t got to that point, but definitely he’ll practice. Probably not games because, one, we have a game every other night. If we can get some good practices in, he’ll be ready. But that’s not out of the equation either."
Candace Buckner: Brooks on Hachimura: “He’s been out for – what? – a month now. I don’t know if he’s coming back February but he’s on the court. Not doing much. Just left-hand layups, right-hand layups. All the work that our development team will put together.”
Hachimura re-joined the team on the sidelines for last night’s game vs. Portland. He will be re-evaluated in approximately two weeks as he continues to recover from a minor procedure associated with the groin injury he sustained on Dec. 16 in Detroit.
Chase Hughes: Rui Hachimura will be out several more weeks according to Scott Brooks. He has been away from the team since having surgery.
Fred Katz: Scott Brooks said Rui Hachimura (groin) could be out another few weeks and then be re-evaluated.

K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago joined the Mully & Haugh Show on Tuesday morning to discuss LaVine’s future. “The safe bet is still that Zach will return (to Chicago),” Johnson said. He offered that with a caveat though. “I’m just reporting what I was hearing at the Combine – and that is multiple people connected to other teams, agents, etc., the chatter at that Combine, the representation of that chatter is that Zach is very much in play,” Johnson said. “Now that said, the Bulls are still very confident in their ability to re-sign Zach LaVine. Michael Reinsdorf has said it. Arturas Karnisovas has said it. They still have the power to pay him more than any other franchise.”
