CAA Sports has signed NBA G League Ignite combo guard Jalen Green, one of the most anticipated NBA draft prospects in years, for representation in all areas. Green could be the most high-profile player to come out of the G League’s enhanced program for elite prospects. A team of agents led by CAA Basketball agents Drew Morrison, Aaron Mintz, Lisa Joseph-Metelus, Erika Ruiz and Lloyd Frischer are representing him. He was formerly reportedly represented by Goodwin Sports Management.
Wasserman has signed several prospects for November’s NBA draft, including Florida State forward Patrick Williams, a projected lottery pick. Williams was ranked No. 11 last week on the nbadraft.net mock draft. He will be represented by Thad Foucher and Joe Smith.

Veteran agent Jerome Stanley is joining Independent Sports & Entertainment, where he will co-represent his son, Duke guard Cassius Stanley, for the NBA draft this fall. Jerome Stanley, who ran his own firm and mainly represented NFL players in his career, will co-represent Cassius Stanley with David Bauman, ISE Basketball COO, general counsel of ISE and a veteran NBA player agent.
ISE is also representing Killian Hayes, a France native who plays guard for the Ratiopharm Ulm team in the Basketball Bundesliga league and is a projected lottery pick. Bauman and agent Yann Balikouzou are representing Hayes. The NBA draft will be held Oct. 16, and Cassius Stanley is projected to go anywhere from the middle first round to early second round, based on mock drafts. Matt Laczkowski, Tandem director of athlete and talent representation, is representing Spencer, who transferred to Northwestern after playing lacrosse for four seasons at Loyola-Maryland. Shams Charania: The Lakers are waiving wing shooter Matt Ryan, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Ryan impressed in stint with L.A., shooting 38.2 percent from 3, including a clutch shot in win over Pelicans in November. The move opens up a roster spot for Lakers ahead of Dec. 15 trade date.
Dave McMenamin: The Lakers plan to waive Matt Ryan, who was on a non-guaranteed contract, to open up a roster spot to give flexibility when pursuing deals starting Dec. 15 when contracts signed over the summer can be traded, a team source confirmed to ESPN. The Athletic was first to report.

Yes, Virtus has Iffe Lundberg, Daniel Hackett, Milos Teodosic, Alessandro Pajola, and Nico Mannion as their ball handlers. But Hackett turns 35 in December, and Teodosic will be 36 in March. They’re both on expiring contracts, just like another point guard Nico Mannion. Meanwhile, Campazzo, 31, still has few quality years to offer as a potentially long-term project.
