Blake Murphy: Jalen Harris just told us on @FAN590 that he intends to apply for NBA reinstatement when eligible on July 1, and that he believes he’ll be reinstated based on the league’s prescribed treatment/aftercare following his disqualification. Raptors will hold rights if/when reinstated.

Jalen Harris has signed a one-year contract to join Vanoli Cremona, the team announced Saturday. Harris, 22, was the 59th pick of the 2020 NBA draft. In his rookie pro season, he logged 13 NBA appearances with the Toronto Raptors averaging 7.4 points, 1.4 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per match.

Blake Murphy: The violation renders Harris' contract null. He was set to be an RFA. As I understand it, the Raptors will retain his rights and have a window upon reinstatement to decide if they want to bring him back. Obviously, the far larger priority will be helping Harris through this.
