Pete Carril (1930-2022)
Legendary Princeton men’s basketball coach Pete Carril, who authored the revolutionary Princeton Offense passed away Monday morning at Penn Hospital in Philadelphia. Carril was 92 years old.
After Princeton, Carril served as an assistant coach with the Sacramento Kings for 10 years until his retirement in 2006. Carril would later return three years later as an assistant coach with the Kings for one season in ’07 before retiring for good.
Former Timberwolves player Jared Terrell signed with Israeli team Hapoel Eilat for the 2022-23 season.
Michael Singer: Heard Zeke Nnaji is back in town & working out with Denver’s coaches. Am told he put on about 11 pounds of muscle & is up to 252 now. Could be a big opportunity for him coming off the bench and playing anywhere from the 3-5. Added size will help in event he plays more backup C.
