Adrian Wojnarowski: ESPN Sources: With labor talks ongoing, the NBA and Players Association are agreeing to extend the Dec. 15 deadline that each side has to give notice of plans to opt out of the current CBA in Dec. 2023. Ratification of extension will come at Board of Governors meeting Wednesday.
Adrian Wojnarowski: The negotiating extension is expected to be into February, sources said, and allows sides to continue negotiating on a new labor deal. The current CBA expires at the end of the 2023-2024 season.
Rob Schaefer: Asked Billy Donovan if he expects Zach LaVine to play both ends of B2B this weekend Summary: LaVine wants to play. Bulls medical still taking knee management day by day, will see how he feels after DAL. Bulls off Mon/Tue after ATL, so cause for optimism he’ll play both. But TBD
Julia Poe: Javonte Green practiced fully today with the Bulls, which is a good sign for tomorrow’s game. Billy Donovan said he looked good and didn’t need to skip out on any part of practice. Still undetermined if he’ll play against Dallas.

“I think they have a two-year window,” ESPN’s Tim MacMahon said on the Hoop Collective podcast. “This season and next season going into that summer. I think they have a two-year window where, you know, like Milwaukee did with Giannis Antetokounmpo, I think in that window they really need to convince Luka Doncic that he has a chance to contend year in and year out right here in Dallas. If they can’t get it done in that two-year window, I’m not going to sit here and tell you that he’s going to force a trade or ask for a trade. I’m just saying at that point if he’s not happy, he has all the leverage in the world if he would be looking for leave.
