Ryan Ward: Kyle Kuzma (ankle) on if he might get shut down for the season: “I don’t know…I’m the worst person to ask that question. I don’t know. It’s that point in the season where there’s 3 games left. It is what it is. It’s up to them at the end of the day.” #Lakers
Ohm Youngmisuk: Kyle Kuzma's ankles are beat up. He was already playing through a sprained right ankle that has bothered him since college last year and now he has a mild left ankle sprain. With three games remaining in the season, Kuzma may have to rest his ankles although he typically tries to play through injuries. "I tried to move and push around [on the left ankle in the third quarter] but it is kind of hard to move around on two flat tires," Kuzma said about trying to play through the latest ankle injury in the third quarter before being ruled out of the game. "My body feels great. At the end of the day, it is just my ankles. I can't tell you anything right now [about playing in the final three games]... [this latest ankle injury is] just really throbbing. [It's] a little different than my last one. My last one was an inside sprain. This is an outside sprain."
Mike Trudell: Brandon Ingram (left groin strain) is out for Monday’s game at IND. The next game isn’t until Thursday at NOP; ideally, Ingram can practice w/contact between games, which is the next step. Meanwhile: Lopez (back tightness) and Kuzma (sprained ankle) are probable at IND.
Ohm Youngmisuk: Kyle Kuzma (ankle) is out Isaiah Thomas will start his first game for the Lakers alongside Lonzo Ball.
Ohm Youngmisuk: Kyle Kuzma had an X-ray on his right index finger, which he jammed on a fall, and results were negative. Kuzma says he will be fine.
Ryan Ward: Luke Walton on Kyle Kuzma: “His hand was hurting” Said he “took him out” because of his defense, however #Lakers
Ohm Youngmisuk: Kyle Kuzma (back spasms) is "good to go" against the Nuggets according to Luke Walton.
Kuzma felt better Thursday morning, but the Lakers gave him an MRI exam as a precaution. The exam was negative and Kuzma is day to day because of the tightness in his back. He is questionable for Saturday’s game against the Denver Nuggets.

CJ McCollum: I think it’s important we don’t lose sight of the fact that 90% of the league is vaccinated. Happy Monday.
Anthony Slater: Klay Thompson on the state of his game: “I can make a lot of jump shots. Pretty good at defensive sliding. My timing is a little off. Reaction time’s not there. That’s being rusty two years. I anticipate in the next four weeks playing 5-on-5 again.” pic.twitter.com/Nk9YDlfyGL
