Cody Taylor: The Magic announced they have signed Devin Cannady and waived Jeremiah Tilmon. Cannady played in three games with the Magic last season before suffering an open fracture on his right ankle.
Josh Robbins: The Magic have signed guard Sindarius Thornwell to a two-way contract, the team announced. To make room for Thornwell, the team has waived Devin Cannady.
Cody Taylor: The Magic announced that they have signed Devin Cannady to a 10-day contract. He was previously with the Lakeland Magic and was named the MVP of the G League Finals.
Nets Daily: The Brooklyn Nets have requested waivers on guards Devin Cannady, CJ Massinburg and C.J. Williams and forward Lance Thomas. That leaves the Nets with 16 players, 15 with guaranteed deals and two-way player Henry Ellenson.

The Grand Rapids Gold, the NBA G League affiliate of the Denver Nuggets, announced today its 2021-22 training camp roster. The 14-man roster includes NBA Veteran Lance Stephenson, former University of Michigan Wolverine Nik Stauskas, and Denver Nuggets two-way player Petr Cornelie. The team is coached by NBA Champion Jason Terry.
Tom Orsborn: Joe Wieskamp on being assigned to G League: “It was really fun to be around the team (the Spurs) and go to the games, but obviously we weren’t getting too many minutes, if at all. This gives us an opportunity to go out there and play and develop.”
The Maine Celtics, presented by Unum, announced today the addition of Deng Adel to the training camp roster. Adel, a 6-7 product of Louisville, joins Maine with both NBA and NBA G League experience. While on a Two-Way contract, Adel played in 19 games for the Cleveland Cavaliers during the 2018-19 season, averaging 1.7 points, 1.0 rebounds and 0.3 assists in 10.2 minutes per game.
Kellan Olson: Monty Williams said picking his spots with when to take Chris Paul out of a game is a feel he’s developed with him over the years. Usually it’s just eye contact. A balance of what his minutes are at, how he’s playing, etc.
Gerald Bourguet: Devin Booker said he doesn’t know if the Suns have an ideal number of 3s they want to take, but “it’s definitely more than what we’re taking now.” Said they have the shooters for it and he thinks they’ll get it going on that front

Vinny Benedetto: Michael Malone says Nikola Jokic is questionable for tomorrow’s game vs. Dallas. Jokic didn’t practice today, though he was on the court in sandals when the media was let in. Malone added Jokic won’t play Friday if he or the training staff has any concerns.
