The facility, perhaps best known as home to the annual Under Armour “Stephen Curry Select Camp” that brings together some of the nation’s top high school recruits, came ready-made for Ignite’s purposes. It already featured a private court, which is in the process of being lengthened from high-school dimensions to regulation NBA size. There are also skills stations where players can work on ballhandling and passing; shooting machines that provide analytics and feedback for every shot; and a nearby training center where athletes can test everything from their speed and coordination, to the efficiency of their nervous system.

The Washington Wizards announced today that the team has signed guard Chasson Randle from the Capital City Go-Go, the team’s NBA G League affiliate. Randle has appeared in seven games this season with the Go-Go, averaging 23.1 points, 4.9 assists and 3.7 rebounds per game. Randle has scored at least 20 points in six of his seven games played with the team this season and is shooting 50.4 percent from the field and 46.8 percent from three. The Stanford-product earned an NBA call-up earlier this season, but did not appear in any games for the Wizards.

Memphis Grizzlies General Manager Chris Wallace today announced the team signed guard Marquis Teague to a 10-day contract as a Call-Up from the NBA G League’s Memphis Hustle. Teague becomes the first GATORADE Call-Up in Hustle franchise history. Teague (6-2, 180) started in all 47 of his games with the Hustle this season and averaged 17.6 points, 3.4 rebounds and 6.1 assists in 32.5 minutes while shooting 45.5 percent from the field, 42.7 percent from three-point range and 78.2 percent from the free throw line. He has led the Hustle in total points, total assists and free throws made and attempted during the team’s inaugural season in the G League. In the month of March, Teague averaged 22.7 points, 3.0 rebounds and 7.8 assists in 34.7 minutes for the Hustle.
