NBA rumors: Raul Neto back to Washington

Going back to Neto possibly getting a raise from the $1.8 million he made last year in Washington. After setting career-highs across the board, including in scoring and efficiency, Neto is going to get a good deal of interest. According to sources around the league, the Knicks kept coming up as likely suitors.
“Raul’s experience both in the NBA and overseas will be valuable to our backcourt roster,” said Wizards General Manager Tommy Sheppard. “He approaches the backup point guard position with a combination of toughness and skill that will fit in with our style of play.”

Philadelphia 76ers General Manager Elton Brand announced today that the team has signed Raul Neto. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed. “By adding Raul to our roster, we’ve gained an experienced and valuable veteran who is a tremendous passer with great court vision,” Brand said. “We’re fortunate that he’s now a member of the 76ers and we’re eager to integrate him into our team.”
