The San Antonio Spurs, in partnership with other investors, plan to transform nearly 50 acres near Six Flags Fiesta into the Human Performance Campus, which will include new training facilities for the NBA team, as well as a mix of medical, research, retail, office and park development.

The landmark project will cost approximately $510 million to construct and could temper concerns that the city’s lone major league sports franchise is a target for relocation, while also positioning San Antonio as a major hub for sports- and performance-related science and medicine. “For many years we have been working on this project,” said R.C. Buford, CEO of Spurs Sports & Entertainment.
The Brooklyn Park City Council gave the green light to Devean George’s nonprofit, Building Blocks, to build an 83-unit, five-story apartment building at 7621 Brooklyn Boulevard North. The building would also have space for a restaurant and retail on the bottom level, and 20 percent of the units would be affordable.
Kevin Durant still has off-season love for Southern California, it would seem. Two summers ago, the perennial All-Star bounced out of his oceanfront Malibu villa, selling the $12.2 million house to “CSI” television franchise creator Anthony Zuiker. A professional move from the NBA’s Golden State Warriors to the Brooklyn Nets soon followed. But now Durant is back, and the 32-year-old holds the keys to a $15.6 million mansion in Hidden Hills, a celebrity-packed guard-gated city in L.A.’s San Fernando Valley.
Built this year by a local developer on speculation, the house was pre-sold to Durant prior to its completion, and was never on the market — so details remain exceptionally slim. But the two-story mansion is large, probably around 10,000 square feet, and was designed in the trendy modern farmhouse architectural style. Sited near the end of a quiet cul-de-sac on a 1.8-acre lot, the spacious property is a literal stone’s throw from the $17.5 million mansion of fellow NBA star Ben Simmons.

Oladipo's VO Spv Real Estate LLC spent $7.6 million to buy Metro Station at 2252 S. Kirkman Road on June 7, Orange County records showed. Metro Station Shopping Center LLC was the seller.
After selling their luxury Miami Beach, FL, condo on the exclusive Fisher Island for $16.25 million in February, the tennis great Caroline Wozniacki and the former NBA All-Star David Lee have made another move. However, the athletic couple didn’t venture too far afield. Instead, they snapped up the last unit in the same high-end building for $18.7 million. Retired NBA star Dwyane Wade has sold his Miami Beach estate for $22 million, nearly two years after putting it on the market for $32.5 million. Mr. Wade bought the property in 2010 for $10.645 million and renovated it, The Wall Street Journal reported.
Miami Heat guard Victor Oladipo, a two-time All Star, purchased a mansion in Miami Beach for $7.75 million, according to a source familiar with the deal.

Erie St. The 3,043-square-foot, three-bedroom unit features a large outdoor deck, a foyer opening to an “entertaining nirvana,” and exotic Tigerwood floors, according to online listings.

Located near Orlando in Windermere, the property — which O’Neal purchased for $3.95 million in 1993 and later expanded — asks $16.5 million.

There’s big, and then there’s DeMarcus Cousins’ house in Las Vegas. The NBA star just sold his 20,000-square-foot Sin City showplace for $7.5 million, or half a million shy of what he was asking for it last year.
Cousins, who spent most of his basketball career with the Sacramento Kings, paid $6.5 million for the vaguely Mediterranean mansion four years ago. The estate reached its peak value a year before the 2008 market crash, selling for $12 million in 2007, records show.
Michael Jordan hasn’t slam-dunked a buyer on his Illinois mansion in its nine years on the market, The Post has learned. Jordan, 58, purchased the Highland Park estate with his wife at the time, Juanita Vanoy, in 1991 for $2 million – the same year he won his first of six NBA championships with the Chicago Bulls.
Jordan initially listed the 7-acre home in 2012 for a whopping $29 million. But without any offers, the nine-bedroom, 16-bathroom abode is now on the market for $14,855,000. In 2013, one year after the property first hit the market, the price fell to $21 million. It was then relisted the same year for $16 million. Jordan has not budged on a new price since it hit $14.8 million in 2015.

Miami-raised rapper Rick Ross dropped $3.5 million in cash on the 8,675-square-foot home at 16800 Berkshire Court, in the Landmark Ranch Estates neighborhood. It was sold by Stoudemire’s Carsares Trust.
Kyle Lowry was asking $5.3 million for his Toronto home. This week, it sold firm for $5.12 million. That’s a shade less than the $5.25 million Lowry paid for the property in 2017, the same summer he signed the biggest deal of his career — a three-year contract worth $100 million to play point guard for Toronto’s NBA team.
The home, owned by KL7 Inc., a nod to Lowry’s uniform number, was put on the market about a month ago, only days before the Raptors announced they’ll play the remainder of their 72-game schedule in Tampa, Fla., where they’ve been playing “home” games at Amalie Arena since the season began in December. After five seasons in the front office for the NBA's Sacramento Kings, the former NBA center Vlade Divac was shown the door in August 2020. Now Divac is divesting his real estate holdings in the capital city. He's put his downtown Sacramento home on the market for $1.65 million.
Divac purchased the downtown digs in April 2018 for $910,000 in the middle of his tenure as the general manager of the Kings. He's also lived in the neighboring Sacramento County town of Carmichael. In 2016, Carmichael's Chamber of Commerce named him "Person of the Year." His former residence in Pacific Palisades recently sold again in November, for $3,436,000. He had purchased the property in 2004 for $2.5 million and sold it in 2015 for $2,711,500.
Anthony Davis is making passes on and off the court this season. The Lakers big man, who inked a five-year deal worth $190 million with the team in December, just sold his Westlake Village mansion for $6.6 million. It’s a relatively short stay for Davis; records show he picked up the property in 2018 and was traded to the Lakers a year later.
Tristan Thompson looks to be parting with his Ohio home as well. The home, which resides along the water in the village of Bratenahl, is on the market for $3.25 million, a big leap from what Thompson paid in 2015, which was $1.9 million, Realtor.com reported, making the home the most expensive in Bratenahl.

Charlotte Hornets 2020 first-round pick LaMelo Ball has purchased the ex-Carolina Panthers QB's former home for nearly $3 million, per Panthers beat reporter Sheena Quick. The condo had been on the market since July.

Found a few miles away from her main residence in Newport Coast, the single-story abode is tucked into a cul-de-sac in the gated community of Summit at Turtle Ridge.
It’s been a great month for JaVale McGee. Just a few days after winning an NBA championship with the Lakers, the big man has sold his Encino home of five years for $2.49 million. He’ll walk away with a profit of about $70,000 compared with 2015, when he bought the Mediterranean-style retreat from Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Marc Anthony for $2.42 million. Designed for entertaining, the secluded property is tucked behind two sets of gates and centers on a three-story home of nearly 6,300 square feet. Out back, palm trees and string lights top a resort-style space with a swimming pool, spa, gazebo, shower room and cabana with a bar.
The recently retired NBA great Vince Carter has scored a posh place in Georgia. The eight-time All-Star bought a mansion in Atlanta for $6,687,000. After a 22-year career in the league, Carter officially retired in June and apparently had time to house hunt. The home was listed in July for $6.8 million, and was slightly discounted, to clinch a deal that closed in August.
Gregg Popovich just bagged $3 million for his mansion in San Antonio, the city where he led the San Antonio Spurs to five NBA championships over the last 24 years. Records show the coach bought the home back in 2005 a few months after leading the team to its third title. The sale was a multi-year effort for Popovich, who first asked $4.5 million in 2018 before eventually trimming the tag to $3.1 million over the summer.
Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker just closed a deal in the desert, selling his Arizona home for $3.45 million, records show.
That’s about $750,000 shy of his February asking price but still $200,000 more than he paid in 2017. A year after picking up the property, he inked a five-year deal with the Suns worth $158 million.
Wood accents and glass walls touch up whitewashed, minimalist living spaces, including an indoor-outdoor great room and dining room with wine storage. Elsewhere are four bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, a theater room and an office across 5,600 square feet.
Although the deal was extensively reported in July, it’s only today — fittingly, near the end of a fantastic Lakers season — that LeBron James has finally closed on his $36.8 million residential upgrade in the 90210, a multi-structure compound packing fantastic views and a storied, only-in-Hollywood pedigree. Built in the 1930s, the colorful Mediterranean-esque villa was owned for years by Charles Boyer, an Oscar-nominated leading man actor of that era who starred in a number of black-and-white classics, among them “Conquest” and “Algiers.”
James also continues to own two separate mansions in L.A.’s posh Brentwood neighborhood. The first was scooped up for $21 million in 2015 and has remained vacant for most of the time since. The second estate, the NBA superstar’s current main residence, is sited on plum hillltop and was purchased for $23 million in 2017. Jeff Hyland and Rick Hilton of Hilton & Hyland held the listing.
King James has a new castle. The Lakers star, who’s currently competing for an NBA championship in Florida, just bought a Mediterranean-style compound in the Beverly Hills Post Office area for $36.75 million, according to the Multiple Listing Service. Spanning 2.5 acres, the property was sold by the estate of Lee Phillip Bell, the talk show host and “The Young and the Restless” co-creator who died earlier this year.
Shaquille O’Neal, after opening a chicken sandwich shop near the Strip, has bought a house in Las Vegas, records indicate. The 7-foot-1-inch basketball Hall of Famer, known for his powerful dunks, lousy free throws and even worse movies, purchased a home in the Southern Highlands community, at the southern tip of the valley, early this year before the coronavirus pandemic upended daily life across the U.S., property records indicate. The $765,000 sale closed Feb. 19.
Gordon Hayward has a sprawling $3 million mansion in Indiana that sits on nearly seven acres — with a pool, wine cellar and every fancy bell and whistle a house can boast. A grand 2-story entryway, outdoor kitchen, hearth room, theater and ornate woodwork spread throughout. Hayward bought the home in July 2019 from D10 Investments, LLC, for $3 million, according to public records. The former Butler basketball standout and Celtics star has a home in Boston, too. Earlier this year, he was the owner of a third property, a massive Rancho Santa Fe, California, estate worth $3.9 million, but he sold that in March.
Houston Rockets guard Austin Rivers paid $4.5 million for a 5,624-square-foot Winter Park home, according to a deed recently filed with Orange County. The residence gives the professional basketball player and former Winter Park High School star a home in one of Central Florida’s most sought-after residential areas.

NBA forward Andre Iguodala, previously with the Golden State Warriors and now attached to the Miami Heat, has let go of his mansion in Lafayette, CA. Designed by architect Ken Hertel, the Tuscan-style build was sold in just six weeks. For the athlete, selling quickly may have been more important than making a profit. He purchased the home in 2017 for $3.6 million, and just sold it for $3.65 million.
Shaq’s home court is back up for grabs. The NBA legend just relisted his palatial estate in Florida for $19.5 million, a price cut of about 30% from his original asking price of $28 million.

A circular driveway is capped by a porte-cochere entry at the front of the estate, which takes in sweeping views of the surrounding mountains.

A Fox Point home is back on the market, this time listed for $3.75 million. The owner is Milwaukee Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer, according to Realtor.com. The home was on the market in early 2018 for $3.48 million (see below). Budenholzer, now in his second year with the Bucks, purchased the home that year for $3.15 million, according to public records.
Tristan Thompson is saying goodbye to his Los Angeles home! The Cleveland Cavalier star, 29, has listed home in Encino, California, for $8.5 million. Tomer Fridman of Compass holds the listing. Nestled in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles, the modern farmhouse-style residence was built in 2018 and offers seven bedrooms and seven-and-a-half bathrooms within its 9864 square feet of living space.
One of DC's most intriguing properties has found a buyer. In January, former Washington Wizard Dwight Howard listed the 10,000 square-foot unit that he owns at the Pierce School on Maryland Avenue NE. Earlier this week, the top-floor residence went under contract. Shortly after signing a contract with the Wizards in 2018, Howard purchased the loft, but put it on the market for $2.475 million after signing with the Los Angeles Lakers last year.
Sacramento Kings point guard De’Aaron Fox, who is among those gearing up for the NBA’s bubble restart in Orlando, Fla., has put his home in Folsom, Calif., up for sale at $1.7 million.
