Rockets open restart training camp without Harden, Westbrook, but with hopes they'll arrive soon houstonchronicle.com/texas-sports-n…
It's hard to watch a company be so tone-deaf.
I asked P.J. Tucker if playing without fans helps the #Rockets better communicate on defense: “Yeah and no. We got guys on our team that just don’t talk. No matter if there are fans in the crowd or not, so we still ain’t gonna be able to hear them. We worked on that a lot today.” pic.twitter.com/8tJglpA6hU
#Rockets Ben McLemore on guys being in game shape : "We looked good today. It's not shocking. Our guys stayed in shape, found ways to stay active. It looked good today for sure." Also said he was pleased with everything the NBA has done with the testing, etc.
Ben McLemore: "We're looking good today. It's not shocking. I know a lot of guys stayed in shape and found ways to stay active. Everybody looked good today for sure."

I asked P.J. Tucker about the importance of communication and if it's better in this setting without fans. I'll transcribe his full answer and share. He discussed how the #Rockets have players who don't talk and how they worked on that today at practice.
Tucker said he has not decided what he will put on the back of his uniform, his name or a social justice message. Said he would have liked more choices.
P.J. Tucker hasn't decided on what he'll have on the back of his jersey. #Rockets

P.J. Tucker on his shoes: "I haven't counted how many...I barely have any room left in my room with the TV and the shoes." #Rockets
PJ Tucker brought a bunch of amenities he normally keeps at home because he expects to be here for the next few months (85 inch TV, self-care products, etc...).
P.J. Tucker on his 85-inch television he installed in his room:
"This is my home for the next three months, so I had to make it as much like home as I could."
He was proud that he installed it himself.
PJ Tucker says he loves how the bubble will ultimately be self-motivating without fans.
"It's my home for the next 3 months, so I tried to make it as much like home as I could ge it. It's perfect." - #Rockets P.J. Tucker on the 80-inch TV he had put up in his hotel room in Orlando.

Mike D'Antoni on returning to play: "Every coach has to be excited now. It's like training camp again... And being around these guys is infectious - no pun intended."

Stan Van Gundy discovered Twitter like yesterday and now he can't put it down. God bless that man.
One year ago today, Russell Westbrook was traded to the Houston Rockets. Between the most efficient stretch of his career, trash-talking the opposition, and swagger, it’s been quite the experience.
The #Rockets will return to the practice court today for the first time since the season was abruptly put on pause on March 11th.
