- All NBA Teams
Today is actually Wednesday so what are all the other days?
For a lot of Canadian kids like me this was the first John Prine song they ever heard, even if they never knew it till years later. Still rocks. Original was pretty good too: m.youtube.com/watch?v=eGbFD5… RIP.
Things you totally forget, Marc Gasol fouled out of Game 1
But he played wonderfully
Kinda janky for Warriors to run a second defender at Kawhi near midcourt?
Remember when Danny Green couldn't make a shot and should be benched and some wanted Jeremy Lin to play ahead of Fred VanVleet?
Playoffs do weird things to people
Ah, a "refs, you suck" chant
That, and clear path reviews, my how I miss 'em
I think this Siakam kid might be able to handle the NBA Finals
A couple weeks ago I called G3 vs ORL Siakam's coming out party. I was wrong. THIS was his coming out party.
To play this well (32 pts, 14-17 FG) on this stage vs such a great defender in Draymond, I imagine he made a believer out of A LOT of people that night #RaptorsRewind
A reminder that Kyle Lowry drew 16 charges in 24 playoff games last year - twice as many as anybody else took in the postseason. #RaptorsRewind
A little bit of all you Raptors fans dies a bit when you see Iguodala do something good and the image of Rafael Araujo comes to your mind, right?
People were worried about Gasol going into this series. Hell, who am I kidding? I was also worried about Gasol, given the matchup. Warriors go small, play fast & spread the floor. Could Marc keep up?
Well, he showed us. He was great on both ends of the floor in G1 #RaptorsRewind
The introduction of the old time Raptors at the end of the first quarter of Game 1 was a moment I'll never forget
It's true, to a point, that NBA playoffs slow the game down but I never thought the Raptors get/got enough credit for playing fast.
They play fast
Warriors were such a good defensive team throughout the dynasty. Not sure they ever got enough credit for it because of their revolutionary O. They defended Kawhi as well as anybody had in the playoffs in G1. The difference: he made plays/other guys (Siakam/Gasol/FVV) stepped up.
I'd seen Kawhi and Danny in NBA Finals with the Spurs, had seen all the Dubs in them; had watched Marc Gasol in Olympic finals, knew Lowry would handle the pressure 'cause he's Lowry; the question in Game 1, to me, were guys like Siakam. Wonder how he'll do?
Ok folks jumping on IG live with NBA agent @Bernie Lee ... join us
Game 1 vs. GSW: The Raptors are here. Or the Raptors were there. You know what I mean.
I have forgotten and remembered the same point I’m trying to make in an article I’m making three different times today.
Write down your ideas, folks.
Looking back at Game 1 of the NBA Finals a moment for Raptors fans that seemed about as real at the time as on of those COVID-inspired dreams everyone is having these days: sportsnet.ca/basketball/nba…
Hi @Aeroplan I received an email stating that my miles will expire soon if I don't make a transaction by May. With what's going on in the world right now it would great if you could extend this. Thank you!
FRIENDS: ASK ISSAC is back for all your existential sports-related dilemmas. This week: on the superstars we hate, and the fans who hate them.
ICYMI -- The Bulls wanted to talk with Raptors general manager Bobby Webster, but the Raptors are in no position to let him go, not now: sportsnet.ca/basketball/nba…

The Raptors only led for 1:46 of the first 36 minutes that night. In a lot of ways this game was a microcosm of the series. They were down but never out. Showed a ton of character/mental toughness in the way they came back from an 0-2 hole and then G5/G6 deficits. #RaptorsRewind

This game was an emotional rollercoaster, but I guess the series was an emotional rollercoaster, so... fitting. As hyped as people were, the Bucks' 31-18 start sucked the air out of that building... temporarily. Those Raps were a resilient bunch. #RaptorsRewind
Cena/Wyatt was a trip.
Many things, much common sense from chat between Adam Silver and @Ernie Johnson through NBA Twitter now:
No way to know until May 1 what future of this season/playoffs will be ...
Can you sing? Are you a beatmaker? Do you do art? Are you a baller? What kind of talent do you have?
So excited to present "How talented are you?", a live talent show on IG Live. pic.twitter.com/D4eQktogGZ
First major league game I ever saw was in Tiger Stadium, still the best ballpark I've ever been in, and seeing Al Kaline play there confirmed my love of the game
RIP, Mr. Tiger
Letterman is 1 of my broadcast idols. I love listening to Stern interview folks too; or a 🇨🇦 great like Strombo as well. I like interviewing folks & just having conversations.
I've hosted a ton of radio shows (& will continue to do so), but this is something new I wanted to try: pic.twitter.com/wLa6cG3cjW
I’ve never done yoga more regularly than right now, and let me tell you: It’s very frustrating that every pose is like, “feel the stretch in your shoulders and upper back” and all i feel is a terrible pull in my lower back. What BS.
Wife has been listening to my Spotify, and my Discover Weekly is getting a tad upbeat, and I DO NOT CARE FOR IT
Game 5 vs. Milwaukee: After Kawhi finished mastering the Bucks defence and Fred Van Vleet had finished shooting laser beams out his butt, the Raptors got a special call.
