There seems to be legitimate traction on a three-team sign-and-trade framework between Chicago, New Orleans and Charlotte that would likely nullify any of the Bulls’ fears of losing out on their preferred point guard target. From conversations with multiple league sources, the framework that would be discussed appears to focus on landing Ball in Chicago, Devonte’ Graham in New Orleans and Tomas Satoransky, Josh Hart and draft capital to Charlotte.
A three-way deal between the Charlotte Hornets, New Orleans Pelicans, and Chicago Bulls is under consideration, sources confirm. The possibility was first reported by The Athletic. Tomas Satoransky, Lonzo Ball, and DeVonte Graham are among names who have come up, per SNY sources. The possibility of a Bulls-Pelicans deal without the Hornets that would send Ball to the Bulls and Satoransky to the Pelicans has also been under consideration.
Hornets chief executive Mitch Kupchak is not known to swing many midseason deals, but the Indiana Pacers are a team to watch in this situation, sources said, as are the active Knicks. Perhaps there’s a deal that sends Myles Turner to Charlotte, which has long coveted a center, sources said, and the Pacers have maintained a willingness to discuss Turner dating back to last offseason.
