We’ll get into whether I liked some of these moves later, but the James Bouknight fall was a bit of a stunner from his pre-draft process push, and sources noted it may have occurred in part due to reticence regarding a high school meniscus tear in his left knee.

It’s becoming increasingly clear that, if Golden State holds onto both picks, it’ll take a high-upside prospect at No. 7 and a plug-and-play player at No. 14. Numerous names have been linked to the Warriors at seven, but The Chronicle’s latest intel suggests that they’ve zeroed in on four players there: Kuminga, Giddey, Connecticut guard James Bouknight and Michigan forward Franz Wagner.
