Johnny Juzang Rumors
UCLA star Johnny Juzang won’t be joining the 2021 NBA Draft class. Instead, he’ll be returning to the Bruins for another shot at the NCAA title. Juzang announced the decision on Instagram, noting that while he had an “amazing experience” going through the NBA Draft process, he couldn’t help but return to college basketball and “go to war” with UCLA. “Going through the draft process has been an amazing experience. I was blessed to connect with great people, learn and grow, and get a feel for life at the next level. I want to thank everybody who has helped me in this process including my family, trainers, school, and especially my dad who helped for countless hours!” Juzang wrote on Instagram.
Johnny Juzang is about to find out how much his NCAA tournament scoring spree boosted his professional stock. The UCLA sophomore guard announced on social media Tuesday that he would declare for the NBA draft while retaining his college eligibility, preserving his ability to return for one more college season. “For many years, I’ve dreamt about playing professional basketball,” Juzang wrote on Twitter and Instagram. “But the journey to get to this point has truly been the beautiful part, crossing paths with such great people: coaches, mentors, and brothers. I’m proud to announce that I’m declaring for the NBA Draft, while retaining my collegiate eligibility.”
