Quinton Rose Rumors
Jason Jones: The Kings are signing Temple’s Quinton Rose to an Exhibit 10 contract. Rose (6-8, 195) fits the profile of what general manager Monte McNair has looked to add to the roster. Rose averaged 16 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists as a senior.
Roc Nation signed Texas Tech guard Jahmi’us Ramsey, who is ranked No. 24: Washington power forward/center Isaiah Stewart, who is ranked No. 26; and Kentucky guard Immanuel Quickley, who is ranked No. 35 by nbadraft.net. Additionally, Roc Nation signed Temple forward Quinton Rose, American University guard Sa’eed Nelson and Indiana guard Devonte Green, brother of Los Angeles Lakers guard/forward Danny Green. Agents Brothers, Drew Gross and Sam Permut are representing the players.
Graham Foley: Quinton Rose told me he will be back next season for Temple.
Temple’s Quinton Rose has withdrawn his name from the NBA draft and will return to the Owls for his junior season. Rose, who had not hired an agent, had until Wednesday to pull out of the draft and retain his eligibility.
Quinton Rose said he has had workouts with two NBA teams, with more planned for next week. Because he hasn’t signed with an agent, Rose may return to Temple if he withdraws from the draft by 11:59 p.m. on May 30.
