NBA grants Heat $4.7 million exception for Meyers Leonard injury
Shams Charania: The Heat have been granted a disabled player exception worth $4.7M for the season-ending loss of Meyers Leonard, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Miami has until April 19 to use the DPE.
Bobby Marks: The Rockets are responsible for $1.6M of the $2.56M salary for DeMarcus Cousins. The NBA will reimburse Houston on the difference (roughly $950K).

The reserves, however, are chosen solely by the 15 head coaches in each conference. They are at the controls when selecting the seven players who will fill out the roster (two guards, three frontcourt and two wild cards).
