Thanksgiving Rumors

Derrick Rose is headed to Carmelo Anthony’s place in Manhattan for Thanksgiving Day, and he didn’t wait for a formal invitation from Anthony’s wife, La La. Rose said he believes it’s his first time away from Chicago for Thanksgiving after spending his first eight NBA seasons with his hometown Bulls. “I just asked him,’’ Rose said. “I put him on the spot. ‘You have people coming over?’ He said, ‘Yeah.’ Actually I didn’t ask him. I just told him. He said, ‘OK, just come.’ I have a couple of friends, so I have to ask him about them coming over, too.”
